One of my goals in the next 24 months is to fully retire at Lake Chapala. I’d much rather spend quality time with family and friends. Lake Chapala is the ideal climate, the cost of living is great and that’s just for starters.
Some of the reasons I want to retire in Mexico, and Lake Chapala specifically are:
Cost of Living
Slower pace of life
Exit the Rat Race
Quality Time with Friends & Family

I made the same decision many years ago and have never regretted it
