Dude, I grew up in Hermosillo, I used to go to Bahía de Kino almost every weekend during the summer. I still go every time I can. Beautiful place in the desert.

I’ve only been to Quintana Roo in Mexico and i can say it’s pretty much the same as your description of Bahia de Kino. I love the beach and the heat of the Caribbean sun.

Looking for information on the difference in the CLIMATE (heat & humidity) and the BEACHES (sand / scenery / prices) between the Gulf Side and the Pacific Side? Anyone have much experience with both sides?

David Krug August 4, 2010 at 5:15 pm

Mike,
The Climate is unique on both coasts. Personally I love the Pacific Coast, Mazatlan, and the Nayarit Riviera. The climate is a bit dryer than on the other side. But the waters of the Pacific arent as pretty IMO.

Just my two cents.
